Maggie Dobra

Maggie is a (soon to be) New York based designer and current senior at the University of Miami. Through her majors in both Creative Advertising and Interactive media, she has developed a passion for finding niche solves that maximize a client’s mission through unique visuals and interactive user experiences while incorporating up and coming technology. Using a foundation in psychology, her out of the box thinking and problem solving reflects not only in her work but also in her close relationships. She recently gifted her best friend a sword.

Maggie finds excitement in making things cool to look at, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources. Whether it be books she’s recently read or her overpopulated pinterest boards, she is always on the lookout for a fresh style to incorporate into her projects. She believes that the future in creating lies in embracing what’s new while appreciating what works, a skill acquired from designing the style guide for the University’s 2025 yearbook edition.


Over the past year Maggie’s work has claimed both Gold and Bronze titles in the Breaking and Entering Media Crowbar Awards, Gold in the AAF Miami Awards, has been spotlighted in the University’s magazine, News at the U, as well as circulated many family group chats courtesy of her mother.
